I was collaborating in the construction of this earthed-sack building.

It consists of very long sacks filled with hearth and then rammed to build a false vault. It is very important to check the right distance very often when adding a new layer to build an almost perfect circle. 

The building system is very time consuming, there are a few hundreds of tonnes of earth in that building, but the results are magnificent.

The use of buttresses is a must because the forces acting on the walls are huge.
