Doomed Domes

My first attempt to build a greenhouse dome was made in bamboo and repurposed plastic. I stopped building it as, finally after years of waiting, the local council gave as an allotment.
It took my wife and I many months to cut down the jungle that they left us, to remove the plastics, carpet and other crap that they left burried in the ground covering the whole allotment, which purpose I can't figure out. It took me many months in deciding to build a larger dome made out of old pallets timber as the previous one was clearly to small for such a large allotment. It took me several more months to have the pallets dismantelled. When I finallly had it all ready and just started to put the dome together the council forced me to give the allotment back after several complaints about lack of cultivation. Damn doomed domes!
The curse seems to be still active in my third attempt to build a functional dome! I built the structure of a new bamboo dome in the field of a friend, but when I was preparing the plastic cover to turn it into a polytunnel dome, I suffered a brain injury that has kept me away from finishing the work. I am planning on continuing to build it as soon as they give me my driving licence back. It was suspended after my brain operation, but I may recover it soon.
I hope that this time things go differently, and this time I have a plan B. A second dome is to be built at Exeter Growers' field.
A prototype of a 3V dome was built with sticks and wax to see if it was suitable for plan B.  I finally decided to stick to 2V domes as they are cheaper to build, and the budget is short.
